  Amity - The Past Month
Here is the Trailer for our recent France road trip, from Dunkirk in the North, to Montpellier in the south.

I think it is safe to say, the trip was about far more than individual riders shredding different spots for the sake of a film. It was an opportunity for the team to unite & bond, or potentially scrap, fight and fall apart. The team is made up of some very different riders and therefore in my mind, it could have easily gone either way. What actually resulted was a tight knit bunch of riders that not only rode hard together as a team, but got along like best mates & partied hard together too. Whether camped round the BBQ with a stella, or sinking Beers in the Australian Bar in Montpellier, the Team united & developed as one.

In Montpellier, we welcomed Bob Manchester to the team, initially via party & hotel antics and later officially to the team as a rider (as reported on Facebook on Saturday). Bob’s creativity, personality and shred-ability will be a great asset to us. We are very excited he has joined us and we are really looking forward to working with him.

Sadly as many of you will already know, Ben Wallace decided to leave Amity shortly after Fise. Ben has his reasons for leaving, which he has outlined as personal differences between us. It is not my place to cast judgement on his reasons or question them. He has made his decision and we would like people to understand that we respect that.

That said, I want to set the record straight with regards to comments made on certain forums about us, or pretending to be us. We have not made a single post or comment on any forum other that the official statement we published via the ride UK site. I would like people to understand that we are big enough to rise above such pathetic childish actions. Despite what some people may think, our statement to rideUK was a genuine representation of the situation as we experienced it and a also a respectful genuine thank-you to Ben for everything he has done for Amity. We respect Ben greatly and it’s a shame others cannot show the same level of respect.

No doubt people will continue to spread malicious rumours, create unfounded hate and blow the situation out of all proportion from behind their computer or phone screens like the true keyboard warriors they are. We just ask them to perhaps ‘mind their own businesses and move onto the next bmx scandal they choose to fabricate

The overall true conclusion of the past month at Amity, is that the France trip has created the foundations of what will be Amity's greatest Asset.

-thanks, Marc
