Robbie truly is one of the nicest guys I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
You could literally count on one hand the amount of riders right now who really don't have a care in the world with riding other than having fun, Robbie is one of them.
It's safe to say Robbie has an original style of riding that makes for a good watch, nothing too crazy, no trends followed, but for him, simple truly works best, and finally seeing someone use their head a little makes things alot more interesting.
Despite the unbarable wind last week, we managed to shoot this edit in a couple of days to welcome Robbie to Amity's flow team.
You're not looking at the next Dave Mirra, just a super nice guy who can gracefully ride and enjoy himself on whatever is thrown in front of him.
So here it is… If you’ve picked up a copy of the latest RideUK you would’ve seen a 7 page article on Amity’s trip to France.
This is not to be missed! Follow Luke Brocklebank, Cam Hardy, Mick Burley, Ryan Taylor, Adolfo Olivo and Damo Wilkinson as they hit up some of Paris’ finest spots before heading down to Montpellier for the FISE competition for even more riding, parties and ofcourse, good times. RideUK is available from most good newsagents, so pick up a copy of issue 141 to check out the article and to find out more about one hell of a trip!
Cam D Hardy - making of the DPS Ride UK advert (from Sam Wise)
A big thanks to Sam Wise for making this lil edit of Cam making ?history? With the rubens tree-ride, shot for the next ediiton of ride, check it out in the mag it loooks fantastic (shot by Fred Murray)!
Amity France - Mathias Tougris Places 1st in Paris at the 100contest
The 100 contests has just finished with the victory of Matthias Augris (monster, amity bikes, bmx force) in park and JB Peytavit (trick of insane, twenty, oakley, tamtam) in dirt and set out again each one with 700€. You are prepared a video Web for soon. While waiting for here the complete classification of the finalists. (translated by Babelfish)
Russo
Hmmm a rather satisfied Russo customer emailed me with this
..."These frames are the tits! So just a quick pat on the back really for making a super-slick looking frame that rides perfect and weighs sweet F.A"
Thanks Matt, it's nice to get emails like this from time to time

Mike King New TM/Flo For Amity
We are very pleased to announce that Mike King has joined AmityBikeCo and takes not one, but three newly created roles. He takes on the roll as official Team Manager, will be riding on the flo and is also the official film maker for the company.
Having worked with Mikey now for almost a year on various projects, we have always been impressed with his vast knowledge and total dedication for all things BMX. His attention to detail, speed of capture and creativity when filming put him at the top of his game and he never failed to deliver on projects we have worked on.
We recently spent 11 days living on tour, filming and riding with Mikey and got to witness his amazing individual riding ability and how can organise and interact with all members of our team. It seemed a natural progression as the company expands, to offer him an official position to match his abilities.
Thanks for everything so far Mike and welcome to the team.

Esprit BMX....
....are now distributing Amity in France. Mathias Toutgris is currently riding for Esprit on Amity, here's some photos and a recent edit. He has an Amity edit coming out within the next month!
Facebook Russo Comp Winners:
You had 25 words to explain WHY-THE-HELL we should send it to you. Your 1st reason was your only reason, you had to be creative/funny/desperate & post by hitting 'comment' on facebook. We had more than 170 entries, so many-many thanks to those of you who took the time to enter.
Making the decision on the best was REALLY hard, so we chose 10 finalists.
The Winning 'why the hell should we send it to you' for the Russo Frame worth a shed load of money is:
1) BMX IS THE RIDE OF MY LIFE MY GIRLFRIEND IS SHIT AMITY WOOOOO FTW ROSES ARE RED VIOLETS ARE BLUE ...
The reason we chose this was because it was VERY TRUE (girlfriends are in general a bit shit when compared to riding your bike), it supported Amity (with some nice ass kissing) and showed some totally random humour (& we like Random). Congratulations to Harry Wilce!!!
Top 5 runners up get stickers t'shirt and grips
2) Once my nan is done messing herself, she would like to take up an extreme sport. Therefore i would like the frame, amity is amazing.
3) because i am Bosnian i have 3 hiv+ cats, Russo frame please, but mainly because im Bosnian
4) To be perfectly honest if you give me this frame then it saves me the hassle of punching some little kid and stealing his bike ;)
5) i need a russo frame so that i can shove it up mark webbs footjammin arse :)
Five runners up in no particular order get sticker sets:
I exchange against a baguette from France ! It's worth it, right ?
i was riding a wtp frame, it was mid BB, its to wide for my penis, i think amity spanish BB would feel much better.
I need a Russo because if i win the frame, and I swear, i'll take a photo of it with a nasty naked woman behind it.... ;)
I AM BLACK.
i think i should win as im ginger and my local bike shop doesn’t sell to gingers :'(
